Hendrik Schäfer

Hendrik Schäfer, MD PhD MBA, is a physician with over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries, currently serving in a strategic role at Roche Information Solutions. Hendrik is responsible for the global diagnostics strategy in Roche Diagnostics Business Development and contributes to the Roche Medical Leadership team in the execution of integrated medical solutions. In addition to working closely with national and international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Hendrik teaches and supervises students at the Universities in Jena and Zurich. Their previous roles include serving as a Scientific Advisor at Bristol-Myers Squibb and in various capacities at Roche and Novartis, where they designed and executed clinical studies and managed KOL relationships. Hendrik holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town and an MD from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, as well as a Habilitation in Microscopic Anatomy from the same institution.
