Ian Blong, Ph.D., is a Medical Science Liaison at Roche, specializing in oncology and diagnostics. With a background in molecular cell research, Ian previously held roles at Stanford University and UC Berkeley, where they focused on stem cell biology and glycosylation research. They have comprehensive experience in diagnostic operations, process validation, and are certified in project management. Earlier in their career, Ian worked as a National Ski Patroller, applying their problem-solving skills in high-pressure emergency situations. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Bioscience and Biotechnology, Ian is passionate about collaborative research and helping others through strategic scientific methods.
