Jamie P. Deeter

Jamie P. Deeter, PhD, serves as the Senior Director of Scientific Affairs at Roche Diagnostics Europe since June 2017, leading medical plans for the cobas® Liat® RT-PCR diagnostic assay and overseeing various studies. Prior experience includes roles at Aalto Scientific as Director of Research and as a Research Scientist at UC Davis, where molecular-based diagnostic techniques were employed. Deeter has also contributed as a Post Doctoral Associate at the Southeastern Cooperative Wildlife Disease Study and taught as an Associate Professor of Biology at Georgia Gwinnett College. Academic background includes a PhD in Infectious Diseases and a BS in Biology from the University of Georgia, complemented by leadership communication training from Harvard.
