João Abrantes

João Abrantes is a Clinical Pharmacometrician currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Roche. Previously, they held various roles within the company, including Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist, and completed an internship focused on pharmacometrics. João also has experience in hospital and community pharmacy settings, having interned at the psychiatric hospital "Padre Menni" and a community pharmacy. They earned a Ph.D. in Pharmacometrics from Uppsala University, where their research centered on improving dose individualization for hemophilia A treatment, collaborating with major pharmaceutical companies. João completed their Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Coimbra.
