Jochen Beyermann

Jochen Beyermann, PhD, is a Senior Patent Counsel at Roche in Basel, where they have worked since May 2004. They are a European and Swiss Patent Attorney, responsible for overseeing all patent-related matters for projects at various development stages, including marketed products. Their expertise includes counseling on small and large molecule projects, conducting freedom-to-operate analyses, and managing portfolios, specifically for products like Hemlibra, Xeloda, and Zelboraf. Jochen has previously served as a Postdoctoral researcher at Rhodia Recherches and as a Trainee Patent Attorney at Roche Diagnostics. They earned a PhD from the Max Planck Society and completed studies at several prestigious institutions, including The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the University of Potsdam.
