Joep Beumer is currently a Group Leader at Roche's Institute of Human Biology, a position held since 2022. Previously, they completed a PhD and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Hans Clevers' group at the Hubrecht Institute, following two master's internships at the Salk Institute and Hubrecht Institute. Joep earned a Master of Science in Cancer & Stem Cell Biology, graduating cum laude from the Cancer, Stem Cells and Developmental Biology program, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, also graduated cum laude from Universiteit Utrecht.
