Jonathan Kirschman

Jonathan Kirschman, Ph.D., is currently a Principal System Engineer at Roche, where they conduct research on electrical circuits and molecular biophysics to enhance nanopore-based sequencing platforms. Previously, they served as a Senior Engineer at Exponent from 2017 to 2022, assisting clients with the development of innovative wearable sensors and conducting safety assessments for consumer devices. Additionally, they held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2017 and as a Research Associate at Berkeley Lab from 2006 to 2008. Jonathan's educational background includes pursuing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at both Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
