Jörn Schweitzer

Jörn Schweitzer is currently the Global Medical Director of Global Medical Affairs at Roche, specializing in ophthalmology. Previously, Jörn held various roles at Roche, including Senior Scientific Communications Director and Medical Manager in Neuroscience. Jörn completed a PhD at the University of Hamburg and has worked as a Group Leader at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau, focusing on axon guidance and neurogenetics. Earlier experience includes a postdoctoral researcher position at the Center for Molecular Neurobiology in Hamburg and roles in medical science liaison at Otsuka Pharmaceutical.
