Kara Lassen is an effective and enthusiastic scientific leader, currently serving as SVP and Global Head of Cardiovascular, Metabolism, and Immunology at Roche pRED. With a strong background in translational research, inflammation, immunology, functional genomics, informatics, and emerging technologies, Kara has held various leadership roles at Roche, including VP and Global Head of Immunology Therapeutic Area. Prior to joining Roche, Kara worked as a Group Leader at the Broad Institute and served as a Research Scientist at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology. Kara earned a Ph.D. in Immunology from The Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Biology and Mathematics from Wake Forest University.
