Kaylee Chew

Kaylee Chew is a Mechanical Design Engineer II at Roche since March 2025, specializing in projects related to GenMark Dx. Prior experience includes roles as an R&D Engineer I and R&D Associate III at Fluxergy, where Kaylee worked on various consumable products, including a Complete Blood Count and Respiratory Panel. Kaylee began with Fluxergy as a Microfluidics Intern focusing on Lateral Flow Assay Consumables. Leadership roles include serving as President of the Alpha Eta Mu Beta National Biomedical Engineering Honor Society and the Engineering Student Council at UC Irvine, which included responsibilities as Vice President of Communications and member of the Corporate Affairs Committee. Kaylee has held research positions at MicroVention-Terumo and the Microbiomechanics Lab, alongside an internship at Locstat Systems focused on data science. Kaylee earned a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine, complemented by a brief study in Data Science through iXperience.
