Kim Distel has extensive experience in process engineering, primarily with Roche from July 2020 to September 2025, where Kim served as a Process Engineer and later as the Chater Lead for Process Engineering & Recipe. Prior to this, Kim completed an internship at Roche Diagnostics Europe from November 2018 to April 2019 and worked on a Master Thesis at TZW: DVGW-Technologiezentrum Wasser from May 2019 to March 2020. Additionally, Kim undertook internships at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência and the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) and contributed as a Student Research Assistant in microbiology topics. Kim holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Bioengineering, both from KIT, completed between 2013 and 2019.
