Laura Guasch

Principal Scientist

Laura Guasch is a Principal Scientist in Computer-Aided Drug Design at Roche, where they continue to apply their expertise in computational chemistry and cheminformatics to aid in drug discovery. They previously held positions at Roche as a Senior Scientist and Cheminformatics Scientist and worked as a Postdoc Fellow at the Chemical Biology Laboratory at the National Institutes of Health from 2012 to 2015. Laura earned a PhD while identifying natural products as antidiabetic agents using computer-aided drug design methods at Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where they also completed two Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Metabolism. Their research experience includes positions in various labs, including a summer internship focused on molecular dynamics simulations.
