Lawrence Yu

Lawrence Yu has extensive experience in biomedical engineering and product development, holding roles such as Graduate Research Assistant at the USC biomedical microsystems laboratory, where comprehensive development of physiological measurement hardware was conducted. As a Product Development Engineer at Fluid Synchrony LLC and later as an R&D Engineer at BioCeryx, Lawrence designed an integrated electro-optical-mechanical system for automated genomic assays, successfully reducing development time by 40% and managing failure analysis during the design review process. Subsequent roles included Hardware Engineer at Verily and currently, Software Engineer at Roche. Lawrence holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, all from the University of Southern California.
