Leonhard Klaus is currently the Head of Bioassay, ELISA, and Adventitious Agents Testing in Quality Control for Biologics at Roche. They have extensive experience in quality control, bioassays, and testing methodologies, having held managerial roles focused on biochemical analytics for monoclonal antibodies and enzymes. Previously, Leonhard contributed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at both Cancer Research UK and Rockefeller University. They earned a Ph.D. in Cell Biology with a specialization in Biochemistry, as well as a Master's in Biology, Biochemistry, and Genetics from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München.
