Luisa Schmidt is currently a Patient Journey Partner and Medical Science Liaison at Roche since May 2020. Prior experience includes a PhD conducted at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cancer Research and the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna from April 2014 to November 2019, specializing in the research group of Prof. Florian Grebien. Luisa completed a diploma thesis at CeMM from March 2012 to March 2013, where significant research led to a first-author publication. Earlier internships include experiences at Boehringer Ingelheim, Allgemeines Krankenhaus der Stadt Wien, MFPL, and two distinguished internships at the University of California, San Francisco. Academically, Luisa earned a PhD in Malignant Diseases from the Medical University of Vienna and a Mag. rer. nat. in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna. Educational background includes a Matura from BG13 Fichtnergasse.
