Mantian Wang

Mantian Wang is a Discovery Scientist at Roche since July 2023, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel from August 2020 to June 2023. Earlier, Mantian Wang completed a PhD as a candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research, focusing on RNA-mediated regulation of neuronal function and plasticity in the hippocampus from January 2015 to January 2023. Additionally, experience includes roles as a Master’s student at the same institute, where research involved lncRNA expression and hybridization techniques, and internships at Max Perutz Labs Vienna, optimizing protein assays and studying nuclear structure. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from Goethe University Frankfurt, an MS in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna, and a BS in Biology from the same institution.
