Markus Britschgi is currently the Section Head of Neural Signalling at Roche, leading research in Neuroscience and Rare Diseases in Basel. From 2016 to 2023, Markus served as an Expert Scientist, focusing on Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease, while also mentoring and leading research projects. Prior to this, Markus completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University after receiving a research associate position at the University of Bern. With a strong emphasis on patient-centric disease mechanisms, Markus aims to innovate novel therapies targeting neurodegenerative disorders.
