Markus Haindl

Markus Haindl is an experienced professional in the field of gene therapy and biochemistry. Currently serving as the Global Head of Gene Therapy Technical Development at Roche, Markus has held various roles such as Lead Gene Therapy Technical Development and Director of Development Analytics and New Technologies. Previously, Markus worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company and completed a PhD and Postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry, where studies focused on biochemistry from 2005 to 2008, along with additional academic experience at Leipzig University from 2006 to 2007.
