Mateusz Mendel

Mateusz Mendel, PhD, is a Senior Scientist in Lead Discovery at Roche, with experience in small molecule drug discovery, gene therapy, cellular engineering, and establishing cellular assays. Prior to this role, Mateusz served as a Contractor Scientist focusing on gene therapy and worked as a Researcher and PhD candidate at Université de Genève, concentrating on RNA modifications and the piRNA pathway. Mateusz has participated in a business and start-up development course through Innosuisse, earning accolades for a soft surgical tool project. Additional research experience includes positions at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Jagiellonian University, KU Leuven, University of Eastern Finland, and Centrum Onkologii Instytut im. Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie.
