Melanie Kirsche

Melanie Kirsche is a Principal Bioinformatics Scientist at Roche, where they develop novel machine learning methods and build genomics pipelines from Seattle. They completed a PhD in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University in May 2022, focusing on algorithms for structural variation analysis in genomics. Kirsche has also held positions as a Bioinformatics Scientist at Variant Bio and has gained extensive experience through internships at Microsoft, Google, and 10x Genomics. In addition to their technical expertise, they taught as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Central Florida.
