Merel Baks is currently the Strategic Corporate Initiatives Lead at Roche, participating in the Business Perspectives Program. Previously, Merel worked as a Strategy Consultant at Monitor Deloitte from 2018 to 2023, where they provided integrated strategies to assist organizations with complex challenges. Merel held the position of Head Teacher in Economics at Stichting Studiebegeleiding Leiden from 2014 to 2018 and completed an internship as a Junior Economic Officer at the Nederlands Consulaat Generaal in Chicago in 2017-2018. Merel earned an MBA from INSEAD in 2023 and holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and Science-Based Business from Universiteit Leiden.
