Michael Hein is currently the Head of Innovation Delivery in the Innovation & Research division at Roche Diagnostics, where they lead a small, interdisciplinary research and early development group. Since 2019, they have successfully designed and pre-developed numerous diagnostics systems in molecular diagnostics, laboratory automation, and diabetes care. Prior to this, Michael held leadership positions at Boehringer Mannheim and in various roles at Roche Diagnostics, including VP of New Technologies for Diabetes Care and Head of the Advanced Systems Group. Michael is pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry at TU Darmstadt.
