Michael Lobritz

Michael Lobritz, MD, PhD, is currently the VP and Global Head of the Infectious Diseases Therapeutic Area at Roche Pharma Research & Early Development, a role held since 2023. They serve on the Board of Directors for both the AMR Industry Alliance and the AMR Action Fund. Michael’s previous experience at Roche includes roles such as Translational Physician Scientist and Head of Antibiotics Early Development. They completed their medical residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University Hospital and Clinics, and they have held various fellowships and teaching positions at renowned institutions, including Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Michael earned a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame and both an MD and PhD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
