Nelson Alexander is an experienced professional in oncology and molecular diagnostics, currently serving as the Oncology Sub-Chapter Lead at Roche since September 2021. Prior to this role, Nelson held the position of Sr. Manager at Ventana Medical Systems from October 2007 to January 2020, where leadership was provided in early and late stage research on molecular diagnostics for oncology and pathology. Additional experience includes roles as Research Leader at Roche Sequencing Solutions, Research Tech at The Scripps Research Institute, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Nelson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Cornell College and a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology from the University of Arizona.
