Olaf Grassmann

Olaf Grassmann is currently the Section Head of Analytical R&D at Roche, a role they have held since 2009. Previously, Olaf served as the Head of Small Molecule Crystallography and Head of Solid State Research, as well as an Open Innovation Manager at Roche. From 2005 to 2015, they were a Technical Development Leader and Head of Laboratory at Roche. Prior to their time at Roche, Olaf worked as a Scientist at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft from 2000 to 2003. Olaf earned an MBA from ESSEC Business School Paris and the University of Mannheim in 2011 and holds a PhD from the University of Würzburg, obtained in 2003.
