Peter Ristow

Peter Ristow is currently a Principal Scientist I at Roche, where they focus on DNA sequencing technologies. They have a strong background in higher education, having completed a PhD candidate program at the University of the Western Cape and University of Copenhagen, investigating maternal ancestry among indigenous populations. Previously, they held positions as a RED senior scientist at Roche Sequencing Solutions and as an MSc researcher at the University of the Western Cape, where they explored nanotechnology's applications in forensics. Peter holds a Bachelor's degree in microbiology and biotechnology from Stellenbosch University and further qualifications in forensics from the University of the Western Cape.
