Philipp Chen is currently a Portfolio Manager at Roche Diagnostics, specializing in customer area portfolio management for diagnostics and healthcare insights since 2022. Previously, they held roles as a Consultant and Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company from 2015 to 2018, focusing on corporate strategy and digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry. Philipp's academic journey includes a PhD in Materials Science from ETH Zurich, where they also completed a postdoctoral researcher position, exploring microfluidics and smart composites. They earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Materials Science from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich and spent an exchange year at the University of Cambridge.
