Robert Hipperson

Robert Hipperson is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Global Head of Procurement Delivery and Global Head of Pharma Procurement - Technical Operations at Roche since December 2019, Robert also acts as an ambassador for The Sustainable Procurement Pledge. Prior to Roche, Robert held various leadership roles at Novartis from April 2011 to November 2019, including Global Head R&D Clinical Procurement and Head of Strategic Planning for Technical Operations. Robert's early career includes significant positions at AstraZeneca, where responsibilities ranged from Global Category Manager to Operations Manager, and a foundational role as an Aerodynamics Engineer at BAE Systems. Robert holds a BEng(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the University of Leeds.
