Roger Sutmuller

Roger Sutmuller is the Vice Director and Expert Scientist in External Innovation, Oncology at Roche, where they have been contributing since 2019. Prior to this role, Roger held significant positions at Roche as Group Leader of Infection Immunology and at Janssen, where they led the HIV latency project aimed at finding reactivation solutions for latent HIV. They began their academic career as a promovendus at Leiden University Medical Center and later obtained a Ph.D. in immunotherapy from Leiden University. Roger's research background includes expertise in immunology and oncology, with prior roles including research scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute and postdoctoral researcher at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre.
