Ross Cowlin

Ross Cowlin is a Senior Scientist at Roche, where they focus on enzyme manufacturing, particularly DNA polymerases. They completed their BSc and BSc Honours degrees in Zoology, followed by a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Cape Town. Ross has extensive experience as a field and lab researcher and has worked in various roles, including as a mountain guide and legal researcher. They made a significant career transition into molecular biology after spending a year in corporate law, ultimately earning an MSc in Molecular and Cell Biology. Throughout their career, Ross has engaged in research across multiple countries, including work at Uppsala University, UCLA, and the University of Cambridge.
