Rui Zhang

Rui Zhang is a Principal Scientist II at Roche, having previously held positions as Principal Scientist I and Senior Scientist. They earned a PhD in Chemistry from Brown University, where they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on the catabolism of para-hydroxybenzoic acid and genetic analyses in Streptomyces species. Prior to their tenure at Roche, Rui worked as a Research Scientist I at QuanDx, where they developed molecular diagnostic kits and conducted assay optimization for human lung cancer detection. They received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.
