Ruth Polwart

Ruth Polwart is currently the Head of Reagents Manufacturing at Roche (LumiraDx), a position they have held since 2025. Prior to this, Ruth served as a Technical Manager at LumiraDx from 2014 to 2025, and was an R&D Scientist at Alere Technologies Ltd from 2005 to 2014. They also worked as a Senior Scientist at Axis-Shield from 2002 to 2005 and as a Senior Scientist at Multi-Sense Technologies for a brief period in 2014. Ruth completed a PhD in Pure and Applied Chemistry and holds a BSc. Hons. in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry, both from the University of Strathclyde.
