Sambuddha Basu

Sambuddha Basu, Ph.D., is a highly motivated Scientist with over 10 years of expertise in neurodegenerative disorders. Currently serving as a Discovery Lead at Spark Therapeutics, they have successfully led complex programs, including a portfolio utilizing AAV-gene therapy, resulting in a provisional patent and presentations at scientific conferences. Earlier experiences include roles at the National Institutes of Health and the University of Central Florida, where they developed laboratory courses and conducted significant research on Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida, Sambuddha is committed to innovative therapeutic solutions in neuroscience.
