Samit Watve

Samit Watve, PhD, is currently a Principal Scientist in Bioinformatics at Roche, where they leverage their expertise in data analysis and machine learning. Previously, they served as a Data Scientist at Roche and Denver Scientific, and held a postdoctoral fellowship at Tufts University, where they published multiple first-author papers and conducted significant laboratory experiments. Samit has also contributed to academia as a visiting lecturer and teaching assistant, emphasizing curriculum development and student engagement. They hold a PhD in Microbial Genetics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, University of Pune, complemented by a diploma in Data Science from BrainStation.
