Shirley Yang

Shirley Yang is a Master's candidate in Biotechnology at the University of Toronto, expected to graduate in 2024. With a solid academic foundation, including a Bachelor of Medical Science from Western University, Shirley has accumulated diverse experience in both educational and research settings. Notable positions include serving as a Summer Research Student at Sunnybrook, where research focused on Alzheimer’s disease, and as a Data Manager Intern at Roche. Shirley also has experience in teaching, having worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto Mississauga, leading biology tutorials and labs for undergraduate students. Additional roles include Summer Camp Counselor at YRDSB Summer Institute and Assistant Teacher at Spirit of Math Schools Inc.
