Shuai Chen

Shuai Chen is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and structural biology. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at 罗氏制药 since April 2021, Shuai Chen previously held the position of Principal Scientist at the same company and had a significant leadership role as Director of the R&D Department at Shanghai Novoprotein Scientific Inc. Notable academic roles include postdoc and senior scientist at the University of Luebeck, as well as a postdoc associate at Weill Cornell Medical College. Shuai Chen's research has focused on the liberation mechanism of SARS-CoV 3CLpro, crystallization of viral proteins, and structural studies of GPCR complexes. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Nanchang University and a Ph.D. in Drug Design from the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica.
