Silke Zimmermann

Senior Associate

Silke Zimmermann has extensive experience in the field of molecular and cellular biology, with a focus on cancer research and neurodegenerative diseases. At Roche from August 2014 to October 2015, Silke served as a Senior Associate, leading the exploration and development of new assays for cancer immunotherapy and cell signaling. Prior to this role, Silke held the position of Research Associate, where responsibilities included in vitro assay development, data analysis, and collaboration on a human post-mortem Parkinson study. Earlier, from January 2008 to December 2011, Silke worked as a Lab Technician at F.Hoffmann-La Roche AG, gaining expertise in molecular biology techniques, cell biology, and biochemical assays. Silke holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Life Sciences from Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHN and completed a state-recognized apprenticeship as a Lab Technician at F.Hoffmann-La Roche AG.
