Simon Loibl

Simon Loibl is currently the Group Leader of R&D Biochemistry at Roche, having started this role in 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Chemist in R&D and a Postdoc at Roche Diagnostics from 2017 to 2018, focusing on organic synthesis and bioconjugation. Simon also served as a Scientist in Molecular Diagnostics at Roche Diagnostics GmbH for a brief period in 2019. They earned their Diplom in Chemistry from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where they also held positions as a student assistant and doctoral candidate, conducting research on bioaerosols and advanced peptide ligation techniques.
