Principal Scientist I - People Leader

Simone Fouché is a Principal Scientist I in Sequencing Assay Development, with over ten years of experience in next-generation sequencing (NGS). They have worked across various technologies such as long-read sequencing, linked-read sequencing, and short-read data, and have focused on diverse organisms, including fungi, plants, and vertebrates. Simone's academic journey includes a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, where they studied genome evolution in fungal pathogens, along with multiple postdoctoral roles that deepened their expertise in genome architecture and structural variation.
