Sonja Schlicht

Sonja Schlicht is a Principal Associate at Roche since June 2006, leading the development and optimization of cellular assays for molecule screening and target biology studies, as well as cultivating human pluripotent stem cells into various cell types for patient-specific medicine. Schlicht has worked on transgenesis and targeted mutagenesis projects in mouse immunology between 2006 and 2011 and initiated a section on “siRNA Safety” from 2007 to 2008. Prior to Roche, Schlicht served as a Laboratory Technician in the Department of Molecular Developmental Biology at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry from February 1994 to May 2006. Schlicht's educational background includes a degree in Biology Lab Technician from PHYWE Systeme GmbH und Co. KG and a General University Entrance Qualification in Economics from BBS-I Arnoldi Schule Göttingen.
