Stefan Hildbrand

Stefan Hildbrand is the Head of Process Chemistry & Catalysis at Roche since 2016, leading a team in the design and development of drug substance synthesis using advanced scientific techniques. Previously, from 2004 to 2012, they held various roles at Roche, including Process Development Chemist and Head of Chemical Process Development. Hildbrand's earlier experience includes working as a Process R&D Chemist at Lonza from 1998 to 2001. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Organic & Bioorganic Chemistry from Universität Bern, following their diploma in Chemistry from the same institution, as well as completing postdoctoral studies at Stanford University.
