Stormy Chamberlain is the Section Head of Neurogenomics at Roche, where they lead a group of molecular geneticists and human genetics/genomics experts focused on understanding and developing therapeutics for neurological disorders. Previously, they served as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Genetics and Developmental Biology at the University of Connecticut Health Center from 2008 to 2022, where their research centered on neurogenetic disorders using human induced pluripotent stem cells. Stormy completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2003 and 2008, studying the role of Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 in embryonic stem cells. They hold a BA in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a PhD in Medical Science-Genetics from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
