Thomas McCarthy is an experienced project scheduler and international rugby player. Currently, McCarthy contributes to programs of works on the Basel campus at Roche since October 2023, while also participating in the Rugby Europe Championship 2025 with Suisse Rugby. Prior to these roles, McCarthy served as a project controller at Turner & Townsend, managing various projects for Johnson & Johnson from October 2020 to September 2023. McCarthy's earlier experience includes project controls positions at Specialist Technical Services (STS Group) for Lonza and Biogen projects. Academically, McCarthy holds a master's degree in Programme and Project Management from Northumbria University and a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Munster Technological University, alongside a minor in Business Globalisation from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
