Thos O'Brien

Thos O'Brien is a research scientist specializing in organoid and cell line engineering with extensive experience in early-stage drug discovery and project management. Currently, they serve as the Senior Scientist and Head of Cell Engineering at Omnispirant Therapeutics, where they engineer stem cells for novel therapeutic delivery. Thos has held key positions at institutions such as Roche Glycart AG and Charles River Laboratories, focusing on cell and molecular technology, and project management in a GMP environment. They earned their Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Mannheim University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Biochemistry from the University of Limerick.
