Tim Snel

Tim Snel is a seasoned professional in the fields of medical affairs and research, currently serving as a Medical Value Lead at Roche since March 2015. Tim has held various roles at Roche, including Medical & Scientific Advisor and Medical Affairs Associate, with responsibilities encompassing study design, data management, and analysis of clinical trials, particularly focusing on eHealth solutions for diabetes mellitus. Additionally, Tim pursues a PhD at Leiden University Medical Center, investigating lifestyle factors and their impact on glucose levels in type 2 diabetes. As a researcher at TNO, Tim contributes to a public-private partnership with Roche on the Gluco_insight project. Tim's earlier experiences include internships at Antoni van Leeuwenhoek, Hubrecht Institute, and Academic Medical Center, coupled with solid academic credentials including a Master of Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Hogeschool van Utrecht.
