Dr. Tobias Hackmann studied Economics at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, where they earned a Diplom in Applied Economics in 2006 and a PhD in Health Economics in 2011, receiving the Friedrich-August-von-Hayek-Preis for their doctoral work. They began their career as a Research Scientist at the university before working as a Consultant at IGES Institute and later as a Senior Project Manager at Prognos AG, focusing on health and care. In 2018, Tobias joined Roche Pharma AG in Market Access and has since led initiatives in Industrial Health Economics within the policy department.
