Tong Du is a seasoned technical leader with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as Technical Director at Roche since August 2016, Tong Du oversees the development of internal operation software systems using AWS and GCP cloud services. As CTO of VSeeding since June 2014, Tong Du manages full stack web and mobile development projects. Previously, as Associate Director of Software Development at Affymetrix from 2005 to 2014, Tong Du managed a diverse range of instrument control software, implementing agile project management and the full software life cycle process. A career that began with roles at VirtualScopics LLC and Acterna demonstrates a strong technical foundation in software engineering, localization, and network administration. Tong Du holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree from Beijing Institute of Technology.
