Wei Li

Wei Li is an experienced professional in the field of analytical chemistry and project management, serving as the Director of the Analytical function of CMC at Hutchison Medi Pharma since June 2021. Wei leads the analytic support for drug substance and drug product from pre-IND to registration and post-approval phases, overseeing CMC document submissions for various regulatory applications. Concurrently, Wei holds the position of Team Lead Manager and Head of Analytics at Roche, where responsibilities include managing the analytics function for drug discovery and development activities. Previously, Wei was a Principal Scientist at Novartis Pharm Technology, directing a team of analysts and ensuring comprehensive project management in the analytical domain. Wei's academic background includes a Ph.D. in the separation and analysis of Chinese traditional medicine from the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
