Jeff Lalic has a diverse work experience spanning from 2009 to 2022. Jeff started their career as a Research/Teaching Assistant at California State University, Sacramento, where they collaborated with a research team and assisted students in biology lab experiments. Jeff then worked as a Cardiac Rehabilitation Assistant at UC Davis Medical Center, where they developed relationships with outpatients and collaborated with nursing staff to oversee their goals.

In 2013, Jeff transitioned into a role as a Microbiologist at IEH Laboratories and Consulting Group, where they tested food, water, and environmental samples for pathogens and interacted with clients to ensure timely and accurate results. Following this, they joined Culture Foundry as a Software Engineering Intern, where they developed web applications using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, and jQuery.

Jeff then worked at Dice Services as a Front End Engineer, where they developed a single-page dashboard, implemented inventory filtering and sorting, and created a vehicle inventory page using AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Google Maps API. Jeff later joined Tripping.com as a Software Engineer, where they implemented major redesigns for mobile experience and search results page, created a user favorites feature, and optimized the web app using A/B testing, server-side rendering, and lazy-loading functionality.

From 2018 to 2020, Jeff worked at X2X Media Group as a Software Engineer, where they migrated AngularJS components to React, led a project on moving a multiple repository codebase to a monorepo, and collaborated with clients to enable automatic updates for an Electron app.

Most recently, Jeff is employed at ASCO's CancerLinQ® as a Software Engineer, where they are continually contributing as a Senior Software Engineer.

Jeff Lalic earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry from California State University-Sacramento. Jeff attended the university from 2008 to 2012.
