Julie Kwon has extensive work experience in the field of design. Julie started their career as a Graphic Design Intern at SpinMedia, Inc. in 2013. Julie then worked as a UX/UI Intern at Vixlet in 2014, where they presented design solutions and produced web elements. After that, Julie served as a Graphic Designer at Alo Yoga, Bella+Canvas, collaborating with the marketing team to create graphics for web and print. Julie also conducted competitive analysis and design benchmarking for the company's e-commerce and social strategy.
In 2016, Julie joined Edenspiekermann as a UI UX Designer, where they provided design services to clients such as Faraday Future, Naked Labs, Google, and more. Julie actively collaborated with client-side partners and agency team members to deliver UX, UI, concept development, and information architecture.
From 2019 to 2021, Julie worked at Bloomberg News as a Senior Product Designer. In this role, they launched features and A/B experiments based on subscription and engagement metrics. Julie's earliest work experience was as an Assistant to a Professional Artist and Educator at the J. Paul Getty Museum from 2012 to 2015. Julie provided teaching assistance for studio-based programs and engaged with the public during artist workshops and demonstrations.
Julie'seducational background includes studying at Otis College of Art and Design from 2010 to 2014, where they also worked as a Letterpress Lab Technician in 2011 and 2012.
